Tinos is visited throughout the year by thousands of tourists. You will find that it has very well organized tourist facilities in the entire island, there are many hotels and apartments that will accommodate you and of course a great variety of restaurants and taverns to suit all tastes.
Since tourists from all corners of the world are gathering to Tinos, the island has also developed entertainment centers and clubs that you will find in the capital and in the most important seaside resorts.
You will enjoy swimming and other water sports if you visit Agios Fokas or Kionia, a few km from the port. Other lovely beaches are located on the south side of the island, in Agios Sostis and Agios Ioanis Porto and on the northern bays of Panormos and Kolybethra.
Tinos is also offered for fishing and hunting. Although, the weather in Tinos is quite windy, if you own a yacht, you will definitely enjoy a tour around the island and a visit to some secluded bays.
You can get to Tinos only by ship. You can take the ferry from Piraeus ( 5 hours trip) or Rafina (4 hours trip) in Attica and from Thessaloniki, in Macedonia (12 hours trip). There are daily departures during all seasons from all ports
